ON FOOT wants to grow a local eco-tourism destination in East Gippsland.
As long-time lovers of our East Gippsland environment – Lakes Entrance, Lake Tyers, Nungurner, Nyerimilang, Lake Bunga, Toorloo Arm, Kalimna - the ON FOOT team are pleased to be growing our ability to get folk walking all over EG.
Our focus is on the importance of nature, observation, creative responses to the local environment.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a small team of volunteer eco-operators, nature-observers and environmental artists who would like to help visitors learn more about our region.
ON FOOT is a collaboration of specialists in Eco + Nature Based Tourism (Skipper Pete, Lakes Explorer), Environment + Community (Beth Ripper OAM, Landcare), Local Accommodation and Adventure Tourism (Fiona McColley), Creative Industries (Andrea Lane & Josephine Jakobi @ FLOAT).
Our work tells us that visitors want to know much more about this place, and that locals - from all walks of life - have untapped knowledge to share.
